After facing significant personal hardships in my twenties, including two cervical cancer diagnoses & an autoimmune disease, I experienced a profound transformation in how I navigated my body & identity. These challenges not only reshaped my understanding of resilience but also deepened my compassion for others who confront their own limitations.
In my journey to heal & grow, I found solace & strength in physical activity, which became a vital coping mechanism. This passion led me to start offering personal & group training sessions in 2019, evolving into TK TRAINING. The pandemic prompted me to innovate & adapt, transitioning to various non-gym settings to ensure that my clients continued receiving support.
In mid-2021, I took a leap of faith & opened my own studio in downtown Hickory. My vision for TK TRAINING extends beyond fitness; I aim to promote holistic wellness that emphasizes the importance of investing in every aspect of life for overall well-being. My goal is to create a supportive platform where individuals can collaborate, embrace their challenges, & embark on the hard work necessary to achieve lasting change & become their best selves.
Hi, I’m Aiden and I’m from Vancouver, WA. I’ve been involved in sports from a young age, and by middle school, I was lifting regularly to improve in football and wrestling. That early passion for training has stuck with me ever since. The summer after my junior year of high school, I signed up for a USAW Level 1 coaching course to learn more about Olympic lifting—and that one decision changed everything. The coach running the course offered me a spot on his weightlifting team, and I jumped in.
That opportunity launched me onto a new path. I started working at a gym, coaching and managing the front desk, and even earned my USAW Level 2 certification before graduating high school. Eventually, I was recruited to lift for the Lenoir-Rhyne Weightlifting Team and moved across the country to study Exercise Science. I'm still pursuing my bachelor’s degree, but I’ve already gained years of hands-on experience—from interning in Division I Strength & Conditioning to launching my own online coaching business.
Coaching is more than a career for me—it’s my passion. I’m here to help you push boundaries, stay consistent, and reach your fitness goals. Let’s get after it!

I sought to work with Taylor after experiencing serious back pain (bulging disc), and wanting to work out again, but wanting to do so safely. When I started training with John, I was experiencing shoulder pain from a minor injury I'd self-inflicted at a different gym. I've seen positive results after each period of training with them-- pain decreasing, strength increasing.

From the moment you walk in, the space feels warm, inviting, and comfortable — not at all intimidating like some gyms can be. It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully designed to support your journey, whatever your fitness level.
